If only The President could think outside the box, and given the good will of the people, should address the issue of ‘economic prosperity with particular reference to historical injustice’ Genuine Gene Z demons were obviously not about the Finance bill 24. These are the grand children of ‘the-have not’. What our grandchildren, said during the demos is not new. It is very difficult to isolate a problem while participating in a demo. The real problem is ‘Historic injustices’ in which them, their parents and grandparents have lived with since 1965, 2 years after Independence. It was at that time that the ‘fruits of Independence were being shared’ The ‘fruits then referred to the agricultural land left behind by the whites’ The agricultural land was unjustifiably shared among the then greedy individuals in power, their relatives and friends. The regime of that day created ‘an unjust situation of the haves and the ‘have not’. The regime went further and protected the ill-gotten land to remain in their possession using our own constitution, making it impossible for ‘have not’ to ever retrieve it. In subsequent regimes, the government remained in the hands of the same individuals and up to date. The ‘have not’ have never gotten justice while their numbers have multiplied to about 65% of the population below a shilling a day. My suggestion to the President is to zero down to the ‘real problem’ which originates from historical injustice selfishly embedded in the constitution. Let him trust in God and task the Law Society, the Judiciary and the President himself to lead the way and address all the historical injustices, with a view to ensuring equitable distribution of wealth.

It can be prudent if referendum is conducted as soon as possible to face out provisions for nominated political leaders ie senators, mps and mcas, Also CDF cash should be channeled through county Goverment and all Goverment funded projects to be monitored by independent bodies like Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, Also Remunations to public officers should be determined by employees academic level of Education, An O-level of MP should not be paid more than a trained primary school teacher. This will face out mps and mcas with dubious academic backgrounds.
